Couples Therapy in Ogden

Most of the couples we see in Weber County meet with us by secure video. You do not need to drive to Salt Lake for certified EFT couples therapy, and you are not limited to whoever happens to be taking new clients in Ogden that month.

Our therapists are licensed throughout Utah, so where you live in the state does not change who you can work with. You get the same therapist every week, from your own living room.

If you would rather meet in person, our office is at 5411 S Vine Street #6 in Murray, about 45 minutes south on I-15. Some Ogden couples do an occasional in-person session and keep the rest on video.

We schedule from 8:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week, so sessions do not have to come out of your workday.

Do we have to drive to Salt Lake?

No. Ogden couples work with us by secure video, and that is the normal arrangement rather than a fallback. The drive down I-15 runs about 45 minutes each way in good conditions and considerably longer in weekday rush hour or winter weather — which is exactly the kind of friction that ends couples therapy early. Meeting on video removes an hour and a half of driving from your week and makes it far easier to protect a weekly session.

Does couples therapy actually work over video?

Emotionally Focused Therapy is a talking therapy. The work happens in the conversation between the two of you and your therapist, and that conversation translates to video without losing much. What matters far more to your outcome is going every week and staying with the same therapist — both of which get easier, not harder, when there is no commute attached.

Can we be in different places for a session?

Yes, and Ogden couples use this often. If one of you is travelling for work or covering a shift, you can each join from where you are and still keep the session. That flexibility is a large part of why couples in Weber County finish a course of therapy instead of stopping after a month.

Do you have evening and weekend appointments?

We schedule from 8:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week. For couples in Ogden and Layton, the 7:00pm and 8:00pm slots are usually the easiest to protect week after week, and Saturday and Sunday appointments are available when weeknights are already full.
