Hello! I’m Alicia Leitch, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, as well as a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in History. This academic background provides me with a unique lens in the therapy room; I view every individual’s life as a rich, unfolding narrative and bring a deep love for understanding the human stories that shape us.

Before transitioning into therapy, I spent a decade teaching Latin to middle and high school students. That decade in the classroom was transformative—it taught me the profound ways in which people grow, adapt, and demonstrate resilience. My experience as an educator fostered a deep respect for individual journeys, which now serves as the foundation of my clinical work.

My Philosophy

I believe that every person is doing the best they can with the resources they currently have. My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside you as you discover new internal resources, nurture self-awareness, and build more fulfilling relationships. I am dedicated to helping you bridge the gap between where you are now and the person you aspire to be.

Personal Life

Outside of the office, my life is centered around my two children and a lively menagerie of pets. To unwind, I enjoy the craftsmanship of weaving, the quiet of a good book, or the friendly competition of a family board game night.
