Cache Valley couples work with us entirely by secure video. Logan is about 85 miles from our Murray office, so we do not ask you to drive it — telehealth is how this works, not a compromise.

That matters more in Cache Valley than in most of the state. The choice of couples therapists in Logan is genuinely limited, and if you want a certified EFT therapist, or a practice with a sexologist on staff, the local list gets short quickly. Video removes that constraint completely.

Our therapists are licensed throughout Utah, so you can work with any of them from Logan, Providence, Hyrum, North Logan or Smithfield.

Common questions from Logan couples

Is this fully online, or will we need to come to Salt Lake?

Fully online. We do not expect Logan couples to make the drive. US-89 through Sardine Canyon is roughly an hour and a half each way in good weather and is regularly worse in winter, which is not a reasonable weekly commitment for anyone. Every session happens on secure video.

Why work with a practice outside Cache Valley?

Two reasons come up most often. The first is specialisation: certified EFT therapists and sex therapists are thin on the ground in Cache Valley, and telehealth lets you pick on expertise instead of on proximity. The second is privacy — in a smaller valley, couples often prefer a therapist who is not part of the same community they live and work in.

Does online couples therapy actually work?

EFT is a talking therapy, and the work is in the conversation between the two of you and your therapist. That carries over to video well. The two things that most affect how a course of couples therapy goes are whether you attend every week and whether you stay with the same therapist — and for a Logan couple, neither of those survives a three-hour round trip.

Do you have evening and weekend appointments?

We schedule from 8:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week, including Saturday and Sunday. Evening sessions after 7:00pm are usually the easiest to hold onto week after week.
