Choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming, and I've been there myself. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and that my role is to hold space for emotional processing and offer non-judgemental challenges to negative patterns that block the path to healing and growth. I want to tailor our time together to meet your specific needs and goals, recognizing that therapy is both healing and hard work.
In our sessions, we'll work together to cultivate self-compassion and personal empowerment. As a former professor and independent theatre artist, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of embracing our strengths and rewriting our stories. You deserve to feel heard and supported as you navigate life's pitfalls and celebrate its victories.
My approach is compassion-focused, strengths-based, and sex-positive. I believe in the power of humor to lighten the load as we delve into the deeper meanings behind life's hurts, and together we'll work to uncover the tools and insights you need to move forward in life with confidence and clarity. Whether you're adapting to a new lifestyle, wrestling with shame, or feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help you create a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and joyful.
