Our rates
Here is how pricing works at Healing Hearts Counseling in Murray.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Rates are posted on each therapist's page and range from $100 to $200 per session depending on the therapist. Dr. Mallorie Sorce, LMFT, is $200 per session; associate and student therapists are lower (see the full list on our private pay page).
Ask during your free consultation which therapists see couples and at what rate, so there are no surprises.
How people pay
- Self-pay: we do not bill insurance directly
- HSA and FSA cards accepted (check your plan administrator for account rules)
- A monthly superbill: an itemized statement you submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement
- Reimbursement depends on your plan, so ask your insurer what it covers
Questions to ask your insurer
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- Do I have an out-of-network deductible, and how much have I met?
- What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
- How do I submit a claim, and how long does it take?
What affects the total
How often you meet (weekly is typical to start), which therapist you work with, and how many sessions your goals need. We start with a free 20-minute consultation so you can talk about goals before you commit.
What you get
Our team specializes in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach to couples therapy. Sessions are at our Murray office or by telehealth anywhere in Utah. See couples therapy and marriage counseling in Utah.
