Frequently Asked Questions
We know starting therapy can bring up questions. These FAQs are here to help you feel informed, comfortable, and confident moving forward.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes! Our therapists offer a free 20 minute virtual or phone consultation to help you determine if it’s a good fit before booking. You can check their bios or contact us directly to request one.
What should I expect in my first therapy session?
In your first session, your therapist will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and learning more about your goals. We’ll also review any assessments you completed beforehand, answer questions, and begin creating a personalized plan tailored to your needs. Our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
Do you offer Teletherapy?
Yes! We offer virtual therapy sessions (teletherapy) for clients anywhere in Utah. If you prefer the convenience and privacy of meeting from home or your office, we’re happy to meet with you online using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
Do you take insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We also accept most HSA and FSA cards.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can book directly online through our website by visiting each therapist’s profile. If you’re not sure who to see, reach out — we’re happy to help you find the right fit for your needs and goals.
Where is your office located?
We’re located in Murray, Utah, conveniently off of 4500 S and Vine Street. You’ll receive detailed directions and parking info once your session is confirmed.
What is the cost?
Rates vary by therapist. You can view each therapist’s rate listed on their individual bio page on our website. If you’re not sure who to book with, we’re happy to help you find the best fit just give us a call!
Do you offer therapy for couples or families?
Yes! Several of our therapists work with couples and families. You’ll find their specialties listed on their individual bio pages.
Do you see teens?
Yes — we work with clients ages 13 and up. Whether your teen is dealing with anxiety, identity questions, school stress, or family transitions, we’re here to help.
Is everything I say in therapy confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in therapy is confidential, with a few legal exceptions such as safety concerns or abuse disclosures. Your privacy and trust are taken seriously at every step.
Do you prescribe medication?
We don’t prescribe medication, but we’re happy to coordinate with your primary care provider or psychiatrist if that becomes part of your treatment plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee. If you’re not feeling well or can’t make it in person, we’re happy to switch to a teletherapy session. In the case of emergencies, just reach out — we’ll do our best to work with you.
